The Little River Blueway
You can also explore the shore on the miles of biking and hiking trails. Being surrounded by protected lands, this area allows you to really get into nature. The scenery won’t be interrupted by a condo development, but you may pass a camper or two at one of the many campsites along the shore. The one development you will welcome is the Hickory Knob State Resort Park. This beautiful lodge has all the amenities you’ll need. With comfortable rooms and great dining, Hickory Knob provides a place to relax and still enjoy the scenery after a long day of adventures. Or if you prefer your nature walks to be interrupted by a game of golf, Hickory Knob offers an 18-hole championship course along Lake Thurmond. The Little River Blueway is conveniently located near Abbeville and Greenwood, SC.
